DIY Livery

A DIY Livery yard in the beautiful village of Collingbourne Ducis, Wiltshire.

Introduction

Court Farm has been owned by the Gordon family since 1968.  The main business is the Organic Dairy and the Arable Farming, as well as the Livery.  Chris Gordon (joint owner) is often found around the place working on the farm.  Court Farm is the main hub for housing the farm machinery, it’s also home to the grain barns, drier and workshop.  There will always be lots of tractors coming and going!

Michele runs the livery business as Yard Manager. Michele lives in the village and has been a livery on the farm for many years. Michele ensures the well being of horses and liveries. For further information please contact Michele, see the Contact button below.

Facilities

Court Farm is a friendly DIY livery yard offering assistance when required.

We are situated in the rural village of Collingbourne Ducis in Wiltshire, we have access to incredible hacking in and around Salisbury Plain, Collingbourne Woods plus much more.  We offer spacious stabling with Organic grazing all year round. We have an outdoor arena (20x40m) with Martin Collins Clopf surface which is floodlit for those darker mornings and evenings.

We are able to offer parking for your trailer or small lorry for a small fee, please see Services for pricing.

We cater for responsible, friendly, tidy horse owners who would be a good fit for our current liveries, from happy hackers to low – mid level competition riders.

At present we have 18 stables, half of the yard has a canopy which means you can tie up outside your stable and stay dry, whereas the other half have secure storage.  We have small herd turnout, usually 1-3 horses grazing in the same area. We do try and accommodate where we can.

We have dry storage space for some of your equipment and there is a secure area for tack should you require it!

How to become a Livery?

Once liveries come to Court Farm, it’s not very often that they leave!  A lot of them have been with us for many years and we have watched many children grow up and move on from ponies to horses which is lovely to see.

We always have a waitlist however we are always happy for people to come and have a look around whilst they are on the waitlist, this way we get a chance to meet you and see if you and your horse would be a good fit for the yard.

It is very important that the yard maintains its current standard to keep horses, their owners and the yard manager happy.
